Restoration Services

Completed Projects

The restoration process is one of initially assessing the condition of the project vehicle and then agreeing a specification and budget for the works required with the customer. Main areas for consideration are general mechanical condition, drive train requirements, paintwork and body, interior trim and Electrical specification. These parameters can vary greatly depending on the customer’s aspirations and the final purpose of the vehicle. We have the capabilities to manage all these requirements for the customer whatever they may be. We have in the past prepared historic race and competition cars, hillclimb and sprint cars, and standard road vehicles. Timescales usually depend on the customer but in general a six month period from initial discussions to hand over of the completed project should be expected. We have in the last Twelve years completed many Pre-M and ‘M’ series vehicles, more recently the ‘S’ series cars are being considered. Our prediction for the future is with a growth in the values of 1990’s Griffith and Chimaera models that we expect to carry out full restoration of these vehicles in the not to distant future. Of course while historically we have been associated with TVR we have also undertaken works on Marcos and other small volume vehicles.
