This TVR Taimar is an excellent example of a very late Taimar , registered in 1980 shortly before the end of M series production . Finished in white with a blue model band the paint is excellent with little or no bubbling or crazing . The interior is oatmeal with blue carpets and blue leather seats , which is all in good condition . The car has a blue fabric sunroof which again is in excellent condition . A woodrim " Motolita " steering wheel is fitted . The car has the standard Ford 3.0 l V6 Essex engine with " K & N " filter and the car has the late M additions of larger " upright " radiator and Salisbury diff . We have just lifted the body to properly repair slight corrosion in the left hand outrigger ; otherwise the chassis is good . The car has recently had new Spax front dampers and Springs and will be supplied with a new MOT . With unusually only FOUR owners from new ( the last two having purchased the car from us ) this is an excellent Taimar . Naturally there is a history file although of late the car has been little used by the elderly gentleman who owned it .
